The design work on the car is coming along smoothly and so far appears to be on schedule, but we need to keep this up if we are going to build a great car to take to competition this year.

Also as part of a new recruitment technique we will have new member nights on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We will develop projects for them to complete, and will need everyone's help on these nights to make sure this works well and we build a great team with a great car. This will start this Thursday after the general body meeting and the project will be to design the steering rack to minimize compliance and such so we will need senior members to be design TA's of sorts.

Oiling:
Design Pump Mount?
Why a new one? A lot of work was put into that mount design prior to it being broken last year so I'm just curious why re-inventing the wheel?

Its more of check the design make sure it still does what we need and that we don't need to clock the pump at a different angle for clearance or better flow, its just the way I described it doesn't mean we are redesigning it just because.

Agreed, I wanted to know if there was an error in the part or if the pump was, as you mentioned, being re-clocked.
